Two
laboratories with well equipped facilities for UG
& PG, two air-conditioned instrumentation rooms having sophisticated
instruments such as Environmental shaker (orbital), Sonicator, Biological
oxygen monitor, Leaf area meter, Laminar air flow systems
and Bacteriological incubation chambers and separate culture room
for algal and fungal cultures to facilitate students
and faculty to carry out their individual and
group projects. Plant tissue culture facility established under DST-FIST.

- Nutritive
Corner is a smart kitchen of Botany Department and is
established mainly to create awareness among the
students about the nutritional foods, their calories
and preparation

"Educational Exchange Program - Winter Term
2007" on the Environment in
Oberlin in January 2007.
Parents Teachers Meet: The department conducts
Parents Teachers meeting every academic year to
highlight the departmental activities to the parents and
to keep them aware of their children's performance in
academic criteria. Nearly 90 parents attended the
program during this academic year
(2006-2007).
