ABOUT
OUR EMBLEM : : |

Lady
Doak College motto consists of three Latin words: "Semper
pro Veritate" - meaning: "Always for the Truth"
- II Corinthians 13:8.
The Shield is divided into three sections. In the left-hand
top corner is an oil lamp symbolizing academic excellence;
in the lower left-hand corner is a jasmine flower known for
its fragrance, symbolizing the sweet fragrance of God's love
spread by us at home and around us and on the right-hand side
from top to bottom is a Palmyra tree known for its high utility
value stretching straight towards the sky representing the
search for truth.

Teach
us, good Lord,
to serve you as you deserve
to give and not to count the cost;
to fight and not to heed the wounds;
to toil and not to seek for rest;
to labour and not to ask for reward;
except that of knowing that we do your will. |

Amen |
