LIBRARY
AUTOMATION
J.X.Miller Library automation
process
was started in the year 1996 with two
computers using CDS-ISIS package.
In the Year 2000 advanced software
with SQL as the back end and VB as the front end was developed
in the library. The software functions effectively with acquisition module,
Circulation module, journal module. Bar coding technology was
installed in the year 2001.
DEPARTMENTAL LIBRARIES
The departments of
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Computer Science
maintain departmental libraries.
REPROGRAPHIC
SECTION  
Reprographic
section provides photocopying facilities.

RESERVE BOOK
SECTION
Course related books are kept in the
reserve section semester wise.
Only overnight use is
allowed.
